Our car has never been inside our garage!   Our hutches a 2ft square but can be extended to 2ftx4ft for does running with youngsters. All the rabbits are bedded on white shavings and cleaned out at least once a week. I do not believe in disinfecting hutches every time I clean them out as rabbits need to be exposed to germs so that they can build up their own immunity to disease. We don't use straw for bedding in the hutches in the garage but we do use it in the outdoor hutches during the winter months for extra warmth. We replaced the 'up and over' garage door with outward opening ones to allow more daylight in and good air circulation which I believe is important for healthy rabbits. As you can see we also have a fan for the hot summer months. Yes, we can get hot weather up here too. We use a fly mister to keep flies at bay during the warmer months.

We feed a pelleted feed and whole oats and mix to our own requirements, with each breed getting a different measure. They get fresh water every day and lots of  barn dried meadow hay which we buy from a local farmer. We do feed vegetables, also herbs and as a treat the rabbits get a chunk of hard dried wholemeal bread. I give mated and nursing does extra calcium in the form of a supplement as does can lose calcium from their bones whilst pregnant and producing milk.

Our Belgian Hares live in large outdoor hutches that have been specifically built for them. It was hard work, but very satisfying to see the end results. We use shower curtains to shade them from the sun and shelter them from the Scottish weather! We also let the hares have a free run around in the garden which they love.
